Obituary for Margaret Lue Ella Decker

Margaret Lou Ella Decker age 74 of Raton, passed away Wednesday November 1, 2017 in Denver, CO. She was born May 18, 1943 in Houston, TX. The daughter Rufus and Edna Smith-Gum. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton. Margaret was loved and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her sister Jerry Leah Mannis of Phoenix, AZ. Daughter in law Rita of Maxwell, NM, She is survived by her husband Kenneth Jerry Decker of the home, Children Frank Gonzales Jr of Maxwell, Christina Sisneros and husband Michael of Raton, Kenneth Gonzales and wife Pam of Raton and Patricia Cruz and husband Gerald of Raton. Grandchildren LeeAnna Sisneros, John Sisneros, Daniel Gonzales, Jenny Sisneros, Allison Cruz and Aaron Cruz all of Raton, great grandchildren Jesse Flack Sisneros, John Michael Sisneros, Dante Sisneros, Ted Kear and Cage Sisneros and numerous nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday November 17, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Deacon Tom Alderette, Solemn Mass of the resurrection will follow at 10:30 with Father William Woytavich as the celebrant. Rite of committal will be at a later date in Magnolia Springs, Texas.

Arrangements and celebration of love for Margaret Lou Ella Decker are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
